This is part two of a two-part series on which is the best sadhana/yajna according to the Bhagavad Gita. Through sadhanas we seek to transform ourselves. It is a quiet inner revolution by which, the way you interact with yourself …

‘I want my children to be happy, confident, successful and live a life of values’ – this is what most parents say when asked ‘What do you want for your children? If we unpack this what we are really saying as parents is ‘I want my children to overcome all odds and emerge victorious’. This is only possible if they have a clear road map of life and can anchor themselves on something that is lasting – Sanatana Dharma – values of justice, achievement, hard work, discipline, a willingness to contribute and pride in one’s national identity. If rooted in our Indian or Bharatiya heritage, our children will be unstoppable and have the wings to fly both as Indian and global citizens. (as is evident in the Hindu diaspora)
Our education system is NOT able to focus on spiritual development of our children. Further, being a Hindu does not mandate our children to attend compulsory religious classes. What do we do until then? Simple. We own up our dharma as parents to live the culture and share the strength of Sanaatana dharma , see and practice our interconnectedness with all beings. We help our children to claim the glorious heritage that is indeed their legacy
Hence, we started SHINE (Spiritual Heritage of India for Next-gen Empowerment).
We conduct online classes and camps for children (6-8 yrs and 8 – 11 yrs)
We create meaningful, entertaining videos that are unlike anything you have seen before and are free to use – Videos of simple shlokas and videos on topics like God, Dharma, Karma, Our Devatas and so on.
